Bet9ja Welcome Bonus Wagering Explained
The bonus turns into withdrawable cash after you bet it 10 times on sports bets with total odds of at least 3.00. Say you deposit ₦5,000 and receive ₦5,000 in bonus funds: you then need ₦50,000 of qualifying bets, for example ten ₦5,000 slips at 3.00 or higher.
Three solid favourites at around 1.20 to 1.45 each already give you total odds above 3.00. Stick to leagues you follow and you can usually clear the rollover in two to three weeks, well inside the 30-day window.
How to withdraw once wagering is done
- Tap your balanceIt sits in the top right corner of the Bet9ja homepage.
- Open CashierChoose Withdraw from the list of account options.
- Enter the amountPick your saved bank account and confirm.
Bet9ja Casino Bonus: ₦50,000 Cashback
Casino players get a weekly cashback that does not need the promotion code. Deposit and stake at least ₦3,000 from Monday to Wednesday on eligible games such as Aviator, Spin and Win, JetX or 49Ja, and Bet9ja returns 3% to 10% of your net losses on Thursday, up to ₦50,000.
Promotion Code vs Booking Code vs Winning Code
Bet9ja uses the word "code" for three different things, which often confuses new players:
- Promotion code: a code such as AFMAX that you enter once, at registration, to unlock the welcome bonus.
- Booking code: a short code created from a betslip. Share it and anyone can load the same selections in the app, on the site or in a shop.
- Winning code: a booking code that someone claims will win. Treat these with caution; no code can guarantee a result.
Bet9ja Bonus Code vs Other Nigerian Bookmakers

Bet9ja Promotion Code Not Working?
- Check the spelling. Copy AFMAX from this page rather than typing it.
- Check the deposit. The first deposit must be ₦100 or more, with the bonus option selected before you pay.
- One account only. Players who already had a Bet9ja account cannot claim the welcome bonus again.
- Still stuck? Bet9ja's support teams on X and Telegram usually answer bonus questions fastest.
Is the AFMAX Code Worth Using?
Yes. The ₦100 minimum deposit is the strongest reason: almost anyone can trigger the bonus. The 10x rollover at 3.00 odds is stricter than at 22Bet or PariPesa, but 30 days is enough time if you bet regularly. Bet9ja holds NLRC licence No. 0001074 for sports betting and No. 00000014 for casino. Read our full Bet9ja review for more.
